After school sessions are run in english, maths and science for students invited to join the Harris Scholars programme.  Click the link below to access the Harris Scholars pages on our website.

 

Harris is an approved LAMDA Centre. Students have the opportunity to gain new skills and extra qualifications.

 

 

Harris launched The Female Lead Society in 2020 with sessions for interested girls provided by a team from the University of Warwick. This organisation aims to showcase inspirational female role models across the world.  The group elected a leader and plan to start regular meetings in the new academic year led by and attended by Harris students.

 

Every Day

 

Breakfast Club Library

We offer a breakfast club where students can come and work quietly or chat with friends in the Library from 8.15am. The club is supported by a member of staff, who can support students with extended learning if required.

 

Extended Learning Support - Library 

We offer pupils support in the Library every day from 3:25 until 4.15 in the library. Students can go to the library to complete their extended learning with support from a member of staff if required.

 

Inclusion and Achievement Lunch Club - I&A

We offer a quiet space, whereby invited students can come and have lunch and play games. Students are supported by members of staff.

 

Film Club - Every Rainy Lunchtime L02

Open to all year groups, stay warm and dry whilst watching a film during your lunchtime.  Movie of the day will be advertised in Hope Hall.

 

Mondays

 

Programming For Beginners - Every Monday Lunchtime MR1

Come and join us to learn about programming and play with robotics. This is available to all students in Year 7 or 8. 

 

Thursdays

 

Christian Union Every Thursday Lunchtime Drama Studio 2

Come and join in with Christian Union, where we play games, learn about God and make new friends. If you attend regularly you will get the opportunity to attend the Oakes Holiday Centre during the Easter holidays.
