The Warwickshire Book Award is organised by Warwickshire Schools Library Service (SLS). Students from schools all over the county participated. This year 14 Year 8 students were invited to join our Harris Judging Panel. The students read, discussed and reviewed the 6 shortlisted titles before casting their votes for their favourite. The students attended the Award Ceremony at Bridge House Theatre in Warwick on Thursday 4th April, where the winner was revealed. The event was an opportunity for them to hear from the shortlisted authors and also hear the views of other students from around Warwickshire. Students also got the opportunity to meet all 6 of the shortlisted authors.

The winner of the Warwickshire Book Award 2019 was announced as S.T.A.G.S  by M. A.  Bennet.

All shortlisted books are available to loan from our school library!
