    Baroness Mary Goudie will be joining us to talk about her career and passion for tackling social injustices. Mary is happy to answer questions from students and looks forward to an interesting discussion!

    Dr Wyporska will tell students her experience of being a young carer and how she got started in her career journey. Wanda will also discuss the topic of inequality in the UK.

    Nick is the CEO of Lightsource BP, an innovative solar company, and will be joining us to discuss his own career and motivations, and provide insights into low carbon businesses and technologies.

  • Student Progression Team Report

    The Student Progression Team, from the University of Warwick, launched a mentoring programme at Harris in January 2020.  Sixteen Year 8s completed the programme, culminating with a campus visit in March.  Our Year 8s enjoyed the visit and were awarded with an SPT trophy for the group work on the day.

     

    The SPT team have produced a newsletter giving more information.

    April 2020: Harris CofE Academy are proud to be supporting our NHS workers in any way we possible can and therefore our Design and Technology department have made some accessories to ensure comfort whilst wearing facemasks for a prolonged period of time.

     

    May 2020: We received a lovely thank you letter from staff in the Radiology Department at George Eliot Hospital.
