    1st place -  Lucy M of 7Y1 - 40 House points

    2nd place - Elise C of 8D1 - 30 House points

    3rd place - Eden and Amelia A of 8D1 - 20 House points

    4th place - Harry C of 7C2 - 10 House points

  • The Great Harris Bake Off

    Your challenge is to prepare a batch of novelty or unusual biscuits.

        

    These should be a batch of ten biscuits on a theme of your choice.

    Points will be awarded for originality, uniformity (all being the same) and the overall quality of the bake.

    Please send a photo of your bake in so that it can be judged and house points awarded

     

    House points will be awarded as follows:

    1st place = 40 House points

    2nd place = 30 House points

    3rd place = 20 House points

    4th place = 10 House points

     

    All entries emailed in to Mr Bradley

  • First Intuition Free Summer School

    First Intuition, one of the main finance tuition providers will be running a FREE Summer School for GCSE / A Level students interested in a career in accountancy. The sessions are free to attend.     The sessions are once a week on a Tuesday at 3.30pm for 90 minutes starting from Tuesday, 23rd June 2020 and will cover additional employability sessions, such as getting work ready, creating a CV and engaging with employers.

  • My Week of Work - 8th June to 12th June 2020

    My Week of Work took place from Monday, 8th June to Friday, 12th June 2020 and was aimed at Year 9 and Year 10 students to give them an insight into the working world from the comfort of their own homes. The feedback received was really positive, so thank you to all of you who took part!  

    "Thank you very much for all your support and assistance with getting access to the webinars. Also for the certificate of participation, we appreciate it all."

     

     "........ gained absolutely loads of insight from the videos and I'm really glad that you invited the Year 9 pupils to join in the program too. It's never too early to start thinking about your options, especially when you're at home all day every day!"

     

    "He enjoyed most of the sessions and heard about areas of work that he had never considered before (mental health nursing really interested him for example, which surprised me)."

  • Girls into STEM online for years 9, 10 and 11

    6th–12th July 2020

     

    The event is open to Years 9, 10 and 11, and will feature STEM taster sessions, talks from successful women in various STEM careers, and guidance on researching future options.  Also, students can explore what university life is like with our virtual campus tours and related videos, and have the chance to talk to our students live on the webchats!
