Passing the kindness on!
Thu 25 Feb 2021Harris students and staff are ‘Passing on’ the kindness with a Harris Kindness Postcard.
We are focussing on kindness during the period of Lent. Click on this link to see our Calendar of Kindness. Staff and students are then doing random acts of kindness for each other, friends, or family and encouraging them to "Pass it On" with a virtual or printed postcard.

We are delighted to welcome back Lieutenant Colonel Russell Lewis, Head of Youth Engagement at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Colonel Lewis will be discussing the six styles of leadership. We are also delighted to welcome back Youth Engagement Officer, Captain Polly Marsh. They are both looking forward to answering your questions during the student Q&A session.

Speakers for Schools is delighted to be joined by Emma Wadey, Head of Mental Health Nursing for NHS England and NHS Improvement. Emma is a mental health nurse with over 20 years’ experience across a wide range of health, emergency care and criminal justice settings. Maintaining clinical practice throughout her career has always been a priority and Emma continues to work as a consultant nurse in a local psychiatric liaison service. Emma will be sharing insights into the role of a mental health nurse and answering your questions about a career in nursing.

Year 9 and 10 Discover Economics Virtual Series - Tuesday, 23rd to Thursday, 25th March 2021
Mon 22 Feb 2021· Warwick’s Economics department are running a series of online events for Year 9 and Year 10 students and their parents/carers on Tuesday 23rd - Thursday 25th March (at various times).
· The event aims to give students a good understanding of what economics is, which will enable them to make informed decisions about future choices.
· There will be a range of exciting talks from economists and academics, along with information about economics-related careers and an exciting competition for students to get involved with.

House Competition - Trick Shot Challenge
Thu 11 Feb 2021The Harris PE department are challenging you to complete your best trick shot.
Over the next few weeks, we want you to record yourself performing a trickshot. The video must meet the following criteria:
The performer and the target in the shot at all times
The video to be no longer than 20 seconds
You can use any type of ball (golf, football, rugby, basketball etc.)
If you do not have a ball then you can use any object in and around your house (rolled up socks, teabag, etc)
NO BOTTLE FLIPS WILL BE CONSIDERED
