  • Year 7 Career Detectives

    9th May 2024

    Y7 enjoyed being Career Detectives on Wednesday 8 May. They asked our visitors questions and tried to guess the job. This helped them learn about future pathways, challenged stereotypes and developed transferrable skills.   Thank you to all our visitors who participated and helped to this event to have such as positive impact on our students.

  • Exploring pathways with Capital One

    1st May 2024

    Capital One have delivered their pathways programme to Year 7 students this week. This gave them an insight into their company and introduced key employability skills. Students created a positivity wall to demonstrate the skill of positivity and took part in a problem solving task called Darius' Pet. They also developed the skill of aiming high by envisaging their dream job.

  • Your Future Roadshow

    18th April 2024

    Year 8 students joined the Your Future Roadshow hosted live by Think Higher. This aimed to inform young people about future pathways from an early stage, helping with future decisions including GCSE choices.   Students were also asked to sketch their dream job.
