Faraday Challenge Day – Y8 Students

We were very lucky to be offered the chance to host this event again this year.  Last year’s Year 8 students had great fun taking part in a similar project. 

The Faraday Challenge is an Institute of Engineering initiative and is an annual competition based on STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering & maths).  A “real-world” challenge is given to six teams of 6 students who, working as a team, come up with a plan, a design and a finished product which fulfills the brief set by the Challenge Leader. 

And all in just one day!
