We are looking for volunteers for our third Career Detectives event at Harris. This is a popular events and we look to improve it each year.

Career Detectives - 8 May 2024 - 11.20-1.20

Aim: 

• To challenge stereotypical thinking around certain occupations

• To investigate and find out information about different job roles/industries

• To find out about a variety of career pathways

Students involved: Year 7

Outline of the event: Volunteers will have their own tables around the room. Students will move around the stations in groups of 4 or 5, speed dating/networking style. They will be given a few minutes to ask questions of the ambassador and try to guess what the career is and write it down on their results sheet, before moving to another table. We will reveal the occupations at the end of the session.
