Gender and Sexuality
Sometimes students feel like they were born in to the wrong body and this can be confusing for them. At Harris we want to support all of our community and so are always here to listen. Speaking to parents can be beneficial but if you would prefer support from school please talk to us. Alternatively you can look at support from other agencies, like Mermaids.

If you are struggling with your sexuality then talking to someone about it can be helpful. Ideally this would be with your parents but there are also people at school who can support you. You can talk to any of the people below:
Your Head of Year
Pastoral Assistants
Your tutor
Chaplain
You can also come to speak to someone in the School LGBTQ Club who could give you some advice as to who else you could speak to. LGBTQ Club is every Friday lunch time in Drama.
There are also some external advisory bodies you can contact for support.
Coventry and Warwickshire Friend Advisory
Friend offers information, advice and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals. All volunteers identify as lesbian, gay or trans.
