Harris Students Selected for National Girls Active Coach Camp at Loughborough University
We are delighted that Harriet Collins and Ashton McBain have been selected to represent The Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire County Young Coach Academy at this years’ Girls Active Coaches Camp at Loughborough University, taking place from 3-5 April.
The County Young Coach Academy is part of a national programme delivered locally by Harris C of E Academy School Sports Partnership, aimed at developing young coaches from across the country.
Harriet and Ashton have been selected for this opportunity because they have demonstrated their potential as a young coach, have shown their ability to influence others, and have demonstrated a commitment to making a difference within their school and community. We are thrilled that Harriet and Ashton will be representing Harris C of E Academy at this high profile event, which has 150 girls attending from all over the country. They will develop their coaching skills, team-build with peers and meet famous faces from sport. We know that they are going to have a fantastic experience and do us proud.
