On Tuesday 26th March, Harris Church of England Academy welcomed Marco Bertozzi, Vice President of Spotify EMEA Sales to speak to our Year 9 students.

Marco has worked across TV and Digital since 1996.  He set up Publicis Groupe’s programmatic operation, Audience on Demand in Europe in 2010 and moved to Spotify in 2017 to take on the role of Vice President Europe. 

Marco talked to students about his career and how he progressed in the sector whilst giving valuable advice on how to stand out and succeed.  He discussed why advertising is important and how Spotify uses their music tastes to target advertising.  Mr Bertozzi emphasised the importance of enjoying your work and doing a good job as a major factor in progressing in the workplace.  Year 9 GCSE Business Studies students had the opportunity to take part in a Question and Answer session with Mr Bertozzi.
