  If your child is in Year 6, then you have until Monday 31 October to submit your application for their secondary school place.
   

  There’s a range of useful information on the Warwickshire County Council website to help you apply, including a list of all local schools, a priority area map and a handy video to help you make realistic choices of schools.

• Physics at Work at the University of Cambridge

  A number of Year 10 and 11 students visited the University of Cambridge for the Physics at Work Exhibition. They had the opportunity to interact with scientific researchers at an event that aimed to inform and encourage the next generation of scientists.

• A Day of Mourning

  The day of the Queen's funeral will be a bank holiday to allow the public to pay their respects to the late sovereign. As such, Harris Academy will closed on Monday 19th September. 

   

  We at Harris are saddened at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her remarkable service will remain a touchstone for us all. The Royal Family and nation are in our prayers and will be at the forefront of our minds this coming Monday.
