Careers Programme at Harris

At Harris Church of England Academy, we are committed to providing a high-quality, inclusive careers programme that equips all our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions about their future pathways.

Our careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) programme is embedded across the curriculum and tailored to meet the needs of every student. We offer a wide range of opportunities including employer encounters, workplace experiences, university visits, and personalised guidance to ensure students are well-prepared for life beyond school — whether that be further education, apprenticeships, or employment.

We are proud to have been re-accredited with the Quality in Careers Standard in March 2025, recognising our ongoing commitment to excellence in careers education and our alignment with the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Through strong partnerships with local and national employers, training providers, and higher education institutions, we continue to inspire and support our students in achieving their aspirations.
