Smartphone Free childhood Event
On Thursday, 3rd April at 6:00pm, Harris Church of England Academy are hosting a parent information evening on Smart Phone Free Childhoods.
Present at the event will be Charlotte Ashton from the Smart Phone Free Movement; Helen Folan, a local GP; Chis Warren, a tech expert and Dad of a 14 year old girl and Mrs Harrison, our Headteacher. They will be sharing information about the medical impact of smartphones on children, parental controls and how the technology is addictive by design, along with what steps parents can take to protect their children and minimise the impact on them.
