Football Skills and Performance Analysis Trip
Mon 30 Sep 2024On Friday, Year 10 GCSE PE and Sports Studies students were given the opportunity to visit the University of Wolverhampton.
The session was organised and delivered by Kerys Harrop. A footballer who progressed through Birmingham City's academy and lifted the FA Cup trophy in 2012, before moving to Tottenham Hotspur where she became the holder of the Women's Super League all-time record for appearances, after her 178th game.
They got involved in football activities delivered by our university students and did some performance analysis using Hudl software! There was also a chance to find out about university courses and careers in sport.
